The first of the Bond three-wheelers appeared in 1949 powered by a single-cylinder two-stroke engine. Later Bond expanded into the full size car market and even made a 6 cylinder GT Coupe. When the firm was bought by Reliant in 1971 only the three wheeled "Bug", with its swing up cockpit canopy, was made until its demise in 1974.
4 cylinders, ohv, aluminium block, 60.5 mm bore, 60.95 mm stroke, 700 cc, 4 speed gear box.
